Cristiano Ronaldo broke the deadlock five minutes into the second half
Cristiano Ronaldo has finally broken his duck and scored his first Juventus goal following his summer move from Real Madrid.
The 33-year-old joined the Serie champions following the World Cup in a £99.2million transfer but has endured a frustrating start to his Serie A career.
Ronaldo had completed 90 minutes against Chievo, Lazio and Parma without finding the back of the net and drew a blank during the first half of Sunday’s match against Sassuolo.

Juventus manager Max Allegri predicted Ronaldo would end his drought and so it proved, although he could not have asked for an easier chance when the goal eventually game five minutes into the second period.
Leonardo Bonucci hooked a right wing corner in the vague direction of the far post where a panicking Gian Marco Ferrar headed against his own post, leaving Ronaldo to mop up the rebound from less than a yard out.

The former Manchester United star could hardly contain his relief, celebrating wildly and he was at it again just 15 minutes later to double the lead.
Fellow summer recruit Emre Can led a counter attack and fed Ronaldo, who did the rest and smashed a low left-footed shot across a helpless Andrea Consigli.
