Robert Spellman, 48, was convicted of burglary and grand theft in August, according to the Pensacola News Journal, after he stole the cigarettes from a stock room in the store manager’s office at the convenience store.
Police tracked him down nearby, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
On Friday, he was sentenced to two decades behind bars.
Spellman has 14 felony and 31 misdemeanor convictions on his résumé, making him a habitual felony offender.
