Four months ago Kim Kardashian West met with Donald Trump and successfully negotiated that he grant clemency (pardon) to first time, non-violent drug offender Alice Johnson, who received a life sentence.
Since then, the mother-of-three, whilst continuing on with her beauty business, has kept prison reform in the public consciousness in podcasts and more.
No doubt doing her attorney father Robert Kardashian proud since his passing, the social media mogul has made it her mission to make meaningful change in the US prison system, particularly encouraging more compassionate sentencing.
The 37 year-old has now turned her attention to Chris Young, a man who, like Ms Johnson, is serving life without parole for a low-level role in a drug-related case.
In a bid for President Trump to grant clemency to Mr Young, and to reform the elements of the prison system in general, the Calabasas-native visited the White House once more yesterday.
In a meeting with both Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, alongside other activists and Trump officials, Kardashian West can be seen in photos engaging in a discussion that she states is for ‘REAL systemic change.’
