2 Chainz has been rapping about "that gas" longer than most rappers have been dropping bars, so it's only right he now has his own certified collection of marijuana-infused baked goods for sale.
On Monday (Oct. 29), Tity Boi revealed news he teamed with Green Street Agency to launch Gas Cannabis Co.,
which is a brand carrying three different strands of premium weed named
after octane levels you would find at your local gas station. The 87
line is described as being "the most affordable," while the 89 Gas line
caters those who want a "supercharged and powerful" but a "smooth ride."
Then there's the 93 line, which is naturally the highest quality.
“I
know quality GAS by the look, the feel, the smoke," 2 Chainz says,
referring to the acronym that stands for "good ass shit." "GAS stands
for one thing, and you’ll know it when you experience it. It’s top-end,
but at an affordable price, because I want everyone to be able to
understand that GAS is the real fire.”
All three strains are available in
pre-rolls or 3.5 oz. packages. According to the official press release,
concentrates, topicals and edibles will be available for purchase soon
as well.
Gas Cannabis Co. is currently housed
at the Westside Station dispensary in Van Nuys, Calif. Alan Spiegel, who
serves as co-owner of the cannabis shop, is happy to be teaming with
Mr. Chainz.

In other news, 2 Chainz's latest track, "Bigger Than You," was certified gold by the RIAA on Oct. 4. The single, assisted by Quavo and Drake, received a hilarious video accompaniment in September, with kid-versions of the rapper starring in the visual.
