Ella Mai’s time
has come. Fresh off her performance at the American Music Awards (where
she was nominated for a brace of honors), the English singer-songwriter
has dropped her self-titled debut album.
The 16-track set runs to almost an hour and features her breakthrough "Boo’d Up," which just broke the record
for the most weeks at No. 1 of any song by a woman on the
R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart when it logged a 16th week in the top
slot.
